This is me trying to beat The Impossible Quiz 2..

You would think that working at AddictingGames.com would mean that the staff here would be the best flash gamers on earth. For the most part that is true but there are a few games that drive us absolutely crazy. With that being said, the AG bloggers got together to put together a list of the games that we just blow at. Maybe you guys can give us some tips because we surly need them for the following games.

Marina Races
Anya
- I am a horrible driver. Well, I’m a horrible yacht driver in flash. I can’t move roughly 2 inches without crashing, whether there is an object near me or not. I can’t turn, I can’t speed up, I can’t slow down, I can’t do anything. Left is right, right is left, up is down…. You get the picture.
Marina Races is by the far the most challenging game for me on AddictingGames, and despite my best efforts, and countless seconds of practice, I continue to fail miserably.

Brick Yard 2
Megan - If you like to make stacks of stuff you should rock at this game. And I do love stacks (usually of the pancake variety). But I suck at this game. I can’t blame anyone but myself. I wasn’t dedicated to block stacking as a kid and it has been to my detriment ever since.

Creeper World
Zip - I should be able to beat this game. Setting up my many defenses and building energy grids: I love this stuff! But the Angry Blue Cloud destroys my every effort to defeat The Bowl. I try, and I try, and I just die over and over. I keep trying, and I’m not getting any closer to winning. Clearly, this game demonstrates my complete suckitude.

Daily Jigsaw
Ben - My mom used to tell me that having patience was the key to beating any jigsaw puzzle. I used to tell her “I don’t have time for patience I have a puzzle to destroy.” Instead the jigsaw puzzles of my youth often destroyed me. I hated them with a passion. You just sit there all quiet and search for hours putting one little piece together at a time. My sweet skill (or lack there of) for putting puzzles together has carried over to the internets as well. I hate this game. I hate it because I suck at it and I suck at it because it’s just not any fun. Give me an option where I can drop a bomb on the puzzle and maybe I’ll come back to this one but for now Daily Jigsaw can bite me!

Coming Soon: Gretel and Hansel

Hansel, you’re an idiot.

Hansel, you’re an idiot.

Hate fairy tales? So do we. So if a fairy tale is going to become an AddictingGame, it had better be good. We found one; Gretel and Hansel.

Here’s the setup:

comingsoon2

Parents, planning murder!

Mom and Dad decide that you’re too expensive to keep, so they plan to abandon you in the woods. And remember, this is  Once Upon a Time, so the woods  are full of wolves and goblins and giant owls, ready to pluck out your eyeballs. If this wasn’t enough, your brother is as dumb as a fencepost, and you’ll have to save his butt too!

Hansel, you sleepy idiot! Let’s get out of here!

Point and click your way out of this dangerous situation, if you can. The art is beautiful, but don’t let that distract you. Keep going! You’re almost out of the woods now! Keep a lookout for Gretel and Hansel – and play it FTW! Coming soon. Remember, to find out about all of our free online games before they drop, stay locked on the blog!

High Scores for Patriotism: Happy 4th Of July!

USA! USA! USA!

If my coworkers wouldn’t look at me weird, I’d probably wear one of those novelty American flag top hats to work this time of year. Maybe it’s something in the water, but the Fourth of July always puts me in an overly patriotic mood.

Hats are only the beginning. From napkins for the family barbeque to ambient music, everything pays tribute to the Land of the Free around here. That’s why I can’t get enough of Addicting Games! Are you kidding me? These games are perfect for the summer and for a bandwagon patriot like me! I especially recommend checking out the following titles on addictinggames.com:

Geography Game – It’s pretty simple in theory. They give you a state name and you have to find it. But, with a cartoon-ish version of the map, it’s not exactly easy. In fact, it’s downright difficult.

50 States– If you think finding all 50 states is difficult, get a load of this game. Not only do you have to match the city with the state, you have to put it in the correct location! Addicting Games really wants to know how well you know the United States. It’s probably one of the toughest games online!

Shoot for the SkyGeography not your thing? Check out this one. With fireworks sparkling in the distance, you have to shoot at clouds with a cannon. Distance and accuracy are everything here.

If you love the Fourth of July like me, you’ll love these online games. The fact that they’re free games helps, too. (Hey, even patriots can be frugal.) Happy gaming!
