What is it with you people and your escape games? No matter how scary we make them, no matter how far-fetched the premise, you keep escaping! OK fine. Start by Observing. Search the place you’re in. Not all doors are locked, after all. Gather Stuff! Solve Clues. If your prison has been occupied by an insane person, or a scientist who has disappeared, or maybe a missing cat, there are usually clues around. Diaries, calendars, scraps of paper – when you find a bunch of numbers that make no sense, hang onto them! Somewhere, there will be a safe or a computer or a combination lock, and then who’s going to be all prepared? Yeah, you! Jam Stuff Together. All that great stuff you gathered? The hairspray and the roller skate? Use them for escapery! Sometimes, it’s obvious. The crowbar is really good for prying boards off of windows. Sometimes, though, you need to experiment. Batteries + Wire + Lightbulb = Flashlight! And then, my friend, you are an escaping fool. Congratulations.
“But what about walkthroughs?”
Really? Some people swear that walkthroughs are cheating. And some people don’t have a problem with cheating.
