Top 5 Friday: Reasons To Get Behind The Wheel!

We love to get videos from our users! Its gives us a warm and fuzzy feeling inside to know that you guys love our site and our games so much that you would spend your precious time making cool stuff for us! That’s why I like to feature those videos here because you guys deserve some credit!

Walkthrough Wednesday: The Great Kitchen Escape

With Thanksgiving just around the corner I assume most of us will be at home with our families either filling up our guts or just trying to stay out of the way of whoever is making Thanksgiving dinner. With that being said one place I do not want to be caught in is the kitchen. Lets just say I’m really thankful for whoever makes me food and that I spend more time trying to escape the kitchen then cook in it. This brings us to this weeks “Walkthrough Wednesday” which will help you master your escape tactics in our favorite kitchen game “The Great Kitchen Escape“.

In this culinary thriller you are trapped in the kitchen which normally isn’t a huge problem but what happens when you run out of food!?!? It’s up to you to find the right tools and make your escape before there is nothing left to eat. No you don’t get to eat anything while you break out! There are more important things to do (LIKE ESCAPE!). I want to send a shout out to dk00111 for putting this great walk through together. Thanks to him the kitchen will never be our end again! I’m Gonna Party Like It’s My Birthday!

It’s my birthday!! I’m not sure how you tend to approach your day of birth but I am inclined to remind everyone for a few weeks prior that a certain amount of years ago today I was born. It’s not as if I think everyone needs to stop what they are doing, bake a cake, throw a party, sing happy birthday and rename this day “Official Megan Day”. But if you wanted to I wouldn’t stop you. And if you have been wondering what to get me for my birthday, which I am sure you have spent literally seconds thinking about, you can play my three favorite games!

Even More Bloons!
Bloons and I met one overcast San Francisco day. I was the new kid at AG and Bloons was just this little Monkey nominated for “Best Performance by a Monkey” at the AG Showdown. Who is this monkey? Why should I vote for him? I played. And with one throw of the dart I was hooked.
Red Remover
I play this game for the smiley faces and the encouraging “Yay!” received when you pass a level. It’s the little things in life that really get me, clearly.

Squzzle
High Score? Check! Puzzle? Check! Addicting? Check! Fill up each square with the puzzle pieces and clear the square use all the same color pieces in the square and clear the level. I have one “friend” (read: enemy) I can’t beat and it keeps me coming back for more.

AddictigGames “I Got Game” Contest Presents: Flame Puppy!

The annual “I Got Game” contest gives AddictingGames players a chance to really be a part of the site! The “I Got Game” contest is designed so that one creative gamer gets their character brought to life through an amazing flash game that we make for them. On top of just having their game made, the winner gets some cool prizes and the notoriety for being just plain awesome when it comes to game design.

This year was our biggest year yet for the contest. With almost 100 entries being sent in, we had our work cut out for us and after a lot of time and thought we are happy to announce the winner for this year is Debbie from Flint MI. Walkthrough Wednesday: Charger Escape

Top 5 Friday: Rock Star Fantasy Games

I WANNA ROCK!

Alright, gamers, let’s have a heart to heart. How many of you are band nerds? Perhaps show choir nerds? Do you spend your days studying your John Philip Sousa pieces, preparing for the next band concert, or diligently perfecting your jazz hands? I won’t hold it against you, you guys, as I was also a complete and total band nerd. I happily signed up for marching band, and was usually the first to arrive in band class. I could play all my major scales on my saxophone before most other students, and used my break time to study and practice arpeggios. Never let anyone tell you being a band nerd is anything less than cool, because you know what we have that other people don’t?

The ability to relate to rock stars.

No matter how small, every band nerd has a secret desire to be a rock star. Whether it’s Lady GaGa, Avenged Sevenfold, or Josh Groban, we all want to be on stage performing, having the audience loving every second of our performance. And truthfully, we understand the pressure rock stars face, we know the level of dedication it takes, and we know how many bad decisions it takes to rock out with your socks out.

So, dear gamers, here are the top five rock star fantasy games on AddictingGames. Hey, if RPG dorks can have their moments, why can’t we??

5- My Party Band

Ah, bass, drums, and guitar. So simple, yet so effective. Imagine, if you can, performing on a stage with your two best friends, bringing the rock and being the roll. You and your buddies are the ultimate rock stars in this game, and the sweet riffs you get to pick from solidify that fact!

The best thing about being a rock star is being able to wear crazy clothes, and getting away with it. It also is the most important. Test your rock star style knowledge in Dress to Rock, and wear your Mohawk with pride!

Did you say you didn’t want to see any green M&M’s backstage? Did you request 3-foot lavender candles, and exactly twenty-seven bottles of sparkling water? Were none of these requests met? Well, take your rage out in Rock Band Rampage, and show those show promoters who the rock star of this venue is!!
